ENERGY KINESIOLOGY WORKSHOP ACCESSING AND RE-PATTERNING BRAIN FUNCTION is a four-part series that provides students with an in-depth understanding of normal and dysfunctional brain processes. Recent research in the field of energy kinesiology has made possible a new and compelling understanding of how optimal brain function can be achieved using the body's own biofeedback system.
The series addresses the brain imbalances that can originate with emotional stress, stroke, epilepsy or other causes. These imbalances can result in learning disabilities, physical impairment, PMS, mental confusion, memory loss or more.
Brain One concentrates on the overall basic workings of the brain, with particular emphasis on the hemispheres, lobes and language centers. The corpus callosum is examined in detail, and specific corrections for particular brain areas are introduced.
The classes are based on empirical scientific knowledge combined with concepts from a number of specialized kinesiology specialties. The Eastern disciplines of acupressure and the Law of Five Elements are incorporated with Western clinical testing and assessment methods.
Brain One Class Themes
Pre-requisite:
The pre-requisite for Brain I is 30 documented hours of energy kinesiology classes using standard muscle testing techniques. Brain I is a pre-requisite for Brains II, III, IV (Neurotransmitters), and the Dyslexia Symposium.
Students will be expected to access and clear a muscle circuit as well as identify and correct switching and blocking. Stacking, or retaining mode, will be used extensively and will be reviewed thoroughly in class.
Approximately 40% of the workshop will be spent in lecture and 60% in hands-on practice. Specific balances will be provided and demonstrated prior to hands-on sessions.
This workshop is four days or 32 hours.
Brain Two focuses on parts of the brain stem as well as portions of the neocortex. A new method for accessing specific brain functions is introduced. The eyes are investigated, including eye pathways, eye modes, tracking and central and peripheral vision.
Correction techniques are interwoven to acknowledge the physical, emotional and energetic levels of brain dysfunction.
Brain Two Class Themes
Pre-requisite:
The pre-requisite for Brain II is Brain I. Brain II is a pre-requisite for Brain III, Neurotransmitters and the Dyslexia Symposium.
Approximately 40% of the workshop will be spent in lecture and 60% in hands-on practice. Specific balances will be provided and demonstrated prior to hands-on sessions.
This workshop is four days or 32 hours.
Brain Three takes a closer look at the brain, with particular attention paid to the limbic system, brain glands and memory as well as the neocortex. Accessing specific brain functions is continued. The ear and the part it plays in both static and dynamic balance is also explored.
Brain Three Class Themes
Pre-requisite:
The pre-requisite for Brain III is Brain I and Brain II. Brain III is a pre-requisite for Brain IV (Neurotransmitters) and the Dyslexia Symposium.
Approximately 40% of the workshop will be spent in lecture and 60% in hands-on practice. Specific balances will be provided and demonstrated prior to hands-on sessions.
This workshop is four days or 32 hours.
Brain Four (Neurotransmitters) concentrates on the neurology of the brain. The roles of electricity and chemicals are presented, with particular attention paid to how synapses work and their importance in brain function.
Brain IV Class Themes
Pre-requisite:
The pre-requisite for Brain IV is Brain I, Brain II and Brain III. Brain IV is a pre-requisite for the Dyslexia Symposium.
Approximately 40% of the workshop will be spent in lecture and 60% in hands-on practice. Specific balances will be provided and demonstrated prior to hands-on sessions.
This workshop is one day or 8 hours.
